    I was born in Missoula, Montana in 1940. the son of Albert Francis Muchmore, Jr., and Helen Jane Worden. I was raised in Western Montana, and have lived in Idaho, Alaska, Washington Utah, Indiana, and Missouri as well. I received a BS in Civil Engineering from Montana State College in 1964, and worked as a Civil and Structural Engineer for the U. S. Forest Service, retiring after nearly 30 years. I then operated a one-man Consulting Engineering firm, Muchmore Engineering International, while I worked for the State of Alaska Department of Transportation as a Bridge Design Engineer for another 8 years, retiring to Vancouver, Washington in 2001 and then moving to Columbia Falls, Montana in 2017. After final retirement I wrote an autobiography and twelve other family and personal history books.
