About the Book
Master plan for 75 acres in Huntsville, Alabama. Community is the heart of Winchester Village, with civic amenities throughout the property. Parks, plazas, squares, playgrounds, streams, ponds, pools, pickleball courts, and the farm will provide healthy gathering places where the tree canopy will be preserved and enhanced. Weaving into these public spaces, a range of dwellings will include single family homes, cottage courts, townhouses, live-works, and walk-up apartments. These options will encourage a multi-generational community that welcomes our students and youth as well as our professors and elders, where families can age in place gracefully. The town center will provide shops, restaurants, and services in a main street format near the south end of the property, as the final phase of development.
