Kristin Elizabeth was raised in Virginia and North Carolina, worked in (and pranced around) Europe, before settling in California where she now lives with her daughter. The idea for this book series was born during a trip to the Palace at Versailles with her mother, a retired teacher and elementary school librarian, who always encouraged her to have a passion for reading, history and adventure.
