So many of us enjoy picking up a camera and taking photos. What makes professional photographers different is the ability to 'see' light (and know how to work the various types), understand composition, correctly use cameras and lenses, direct and relax our subjects, have imagination and know how best to use Photoshop. All these skills take many years to come together. I am passionate about photography, light and people. I come from an artistic family with Slovakian/Irish ancestry. In fact my great great grandfather was one of early Melbourne's prominent photographers. He even placed an add in his local newspaper giving away a block of land with each portrait sitting! It caused such a stir at the time. My work encompasses many genres, of which I have gained vast experience of over the years. What I have to offer you is over 25 years of professional photographic experience, creativity, and a calm attitude.
