About the Book
"The Singing Hills" is a collection of photography and words by photographer Emily Scott - the woman behind the photography series "Rabbit in the Meadow" - a curated condensation of a year's worth of photography, showcasing the changing of seasons in the rural landscapes of western Massachusetts from January to December of 2019.
Follow the subtle change of seasons from ethereal winter, to the rhapsodic splendor of summer, to the melancholy chill of autumn, and back again, through soft and dream-like photography, and accompanied by original titles for each set.
"Rabbit in the Meadow" is an ongoing project that is, in essence, a diary, spoken in whispering colors, chronicling one woman's relationship to the earth; quiet, and solitary, and reverent.
