A collection of sketches and paintings by Artist-Naturalist, Ernest Andrew Somers spanning a period of some 30 years spent exploring Canada's, Algonquin Provincial Park. Part One of My painting Places began with the exploration of Oxtongue Lake, an area frequented by A.J. Casson a member of Canada’s Group of Seven Painters, then proceeded to the Park exploring the trails and lakes bordering the major highway that runs through the park ending at Canisbay Lake. Part Two takes up where Part One left off proceding through, and around the park, ending at Algonquin’s Rain Lake.
