About the Book
Could the use of capnography in suspected sepsis cases both increase paramedics' confidence diagnosing and treating the condition, and improve patient outcomes? Sepsis screening tools to date have failed to include capnography as a diagnosing element, despite mounting evidence supporting the inverse correlation between EtCO2 levels and sepsis severity. This research looks into that topic and sets the foundations for a novel pilot study that could prove the feasibility of such approach.
