About the Book
What is Green?
In the spectrum, green is between blue and yellow. We know that when we mix blue and yellow, we get green. But what does the colour green mean? How many shades of green exist? And, in the English language, which of the various hues of green are used as metaphors?
I was inspired to capture as many shades of green and their metaphors as I could manage in my environment.

About the Creator
Gerry Bates

I have a passion for painting and photography. There is beauty everywhere. Infinite opportunities exist to put images on canvas or film. In education, photography is also a way of documenting the learning that takes place inside and outside the classroom. Documenting the changes in nature, in rural and urban landscapes, and in the environment in general, I consider as essential as photograpy as an Art form.
