About the Creator
MFA in Photography, Savannah College of Art & Design, 2002. Instructor: Hunan University of Technology and Business (Frostburg State University), 2024. Formerly taught at Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology (2007), University of Rhode Island, and Rhode Island College (2003-2006), and Photography, Rhode Island School of Design CE. 2005-2023. Bought my first camera in 1970. Built my first darkroom in 1979. Attended Maine Photographic Workshops with Mary Ellen Mark, Eugene Richards, Constantine Manos, Maggie Steber, Chris Rainier, and others. Awarded Aaron Siskind Fellowship Honorarium (1994 and 1996) Exhibited in the US and China. Published 11 books of photographs on Blurb.
