They help children cope with potentially stressful and traumatic medical experiences. This is done by using a variety of methods, also called interventions, including medical play, reading, games and therapeutic touch. Meghan Mack created this book to allow children to learn about and explore the world of healthcare, whether they are currently hospitalized or not.
