About the Book
This poetry is the story of the love of a wife for a husband. The Haiku were originally written by my Mother for my Father, who recently passed away. They tell of her love for him and also their shared interests in Eastern philosophy and Nature. These are the values which echo throughout my childhood and which led me to collaborate with my Mother in visualising her poetry. This project is a Mother and Son artistic collaboration. The combining across generations of artistic sensibilities in words and photographs to celebrate our family. We hope you enjoy it.

Olaf Willoughby
London, UK
I am a photographer and writer living in London. My work is about Pattern Detection. Exploring the ebb and flow of energy around us. My narrative involves everything from advocacy to collaborative projects, from multiple exposures to haiku. In 2016 with Eileen McCarney Muldoon, I’ll be co-teaching Visual Conversations workshops in the USA and the UK, plus running a Street Photography course in Brooklyn. We’ve also published 'Visualising Poetry', a book celebrating the power of words and images. Getting work out there, is exciting. Endings contain new beginnings…
