‘Alpha and Omega’ is an intriguing and action-packed commercial thriller fiction novel set in today’s precarious and increasingly terrorised world, based in Europe and Australia.

Its star is Brian Jones, formerly bad-ass Black Jack Fleming, who committed heinous crimes as head of security for an underground human cloning cartel running a secret lab in rural Australia. But when the conspiracy was uncovered, he fled overseas to Europe.

After surviving a passenger jet crash with a handful of others, it was only natural that BJ reassessed his life. But trouble follows him and just when old habits were returning, he’s kidnapped by members of a mysterious altruistic movement headed by Glyn Williams and Samuel Belginarh. They reveal a new path fraught from danger, that will however, wipe his slate clean.

This second chance has serious strings attached… either take on a high-risk freelance assignment or be handed over to Interpol to rot in gaol for the rest of his days. So BJ embarks as an initially unwilling participant on a dangerous journey of redemption.

BJ then meets Catherine Grant, a like-minded soul with a very dark past, who helps him take the path that he must, if the mission he has been given by the secret society is to be completed… and if BJ is to survive.
Full of surprises and packed with action, it’s a gritty, edgy story of one man's struggle to be a better person in the face of a lifelong quest of striving to be badder, tougher and flashier than anyone else.

A word from the author: Alpha and Omega is a work in progress, although it can be viewed as a novella, at least for now. The 10,000 words within are dedicated to everyone who could do with a second chance in life. Cheers, PVJ :)
