Barcelona is an amazing city. Not quite Spanish as the local will be very quick to tell you. They consider them selves to be Catalyunan and are very proud of this.

the area is highly industrilised and you can see wealth wherever you look.

The views over this relatively flat city can be breathtaking. The ground breaking architecture from Gaudi and his contemproies makes you realise that there is more to life than straight lines.



It is also one of those cities that you will have to visit on more than one occasion to rekindle the sense of wonder you get from the atmosphere there.
