About the Book
For over 24 years, the San Diego Eye Foundation and National Vision Research Institute were the most productive source of ophthalmology (eye) research in San Diego County. These labs were run by research technicians, physicians and surgeons, post-doctoral scientists, and visiting doctors from all over the world. Together they published over 150 scientific publications and more than 200 scientific abstracts, while presenting 50 posters and 175 presentations and teaching 20 surgical and clinical diagnostic courses. Best of all, they all shared fun and some ultimately became life-long friends.
