About the Book
For Keiko, plein-air painting is not only the best way to capture the essence of a time and a place but also the best training for her to brush up on her painting skills. In this book she shows 100 watercolor paintings of San Diego, California, her adopted home of 20 years. Each work was painted on site between November 2013 and May 2014 in various locations throughout San Diego County. In addition to 100 images of her paintings, the book contains photos of each location, descriptions, practical tips and several demonstrations. Foreword written by Michael Campos, a fine art photographer Keiko has been working with since 2006. 120 pages.
