About the Book
A book of images motivated by the ideas behind 'Pop Art' and the 'Nouveau Realism' French artists, who used decollage as an art form. The images have been selected from the chaotic visual background of city streets and are based on the graffiti art forms found in the backstreets and the torn tattered posters that reveal the commercial texts and pictures in layers, and therefore the passing of time.
Both these art forms are transient in nature, but once photographed have a little more permanence
