This book is a collection of some images that I've captured over the last couple of years for ongoing personal projects involving war artifacts, signage, humans and nature, boundaries, change, and abstract details.

Images have been optimized for Blurb's Custom Workflow by soft-proofing them in Photoshop, using the BlurbB3_CMYK.icc color profile and applying appropriate tonal adjustments. Instead of using Blurb's BookSmart layouts, I created page layouts in InDesign -- for all pages except the copyright page, dust jacket flaps, and spine. Images of the full pages were exported from InDesign as 300-dpi JPG files, which were imported into BookSmart. I used Gill Sans and ITC Century fonts.



Please note: If you wish to buy a hardcover book, I recommend the "Hardcover, Dust Jacket" version. I've read reports that the "Hardcover, ImageWrap" books tend to show scuff marks. The dust jackets and the softcover books have a gloss lamination that is resistant to scuffing.
