About the Book
During the course of my studies I was set a task to create a photobook. I decided to examine the way that women look at their bodies and the effect that photo manipulation within the media can lead to low self esteem and body issues. I wanted the final outcome to show me in my real, unedited state. For me this was a major hurdle getting over my own insecurities about my body but the outcome perfectly demonstrates that we are all unique and beautiful in our own right. If we can only learn to embrace our womanhood.
