About the Book
MAN, manners are necessary is Stuart Garske's first solo photographic portraiture exhibition. The theme of masculinity and our gay communities fascination with hyper masculinity, straight-acting and 'MASC' was the inspiration for this series. Stuart has approached a variety of men through social media apps such as Grindr and Scruff to sit for a portrait in their own homes and share with you a truthful relaxed view of themselves. Perhaps even a lesser seen side of their natural masculinity. This book is the full collection of works from the exhibition.

About the Creator
Stuart Garske
Sydney, Australia
Over my working life I have collected a variety of skills and professional connections which has enabled me to have experienced the creative process from many sides, (client to art director) This has given me a love for keeping my work life varied and interesting. Always open to collaborations and working in small teams. I am a graphic designer first and foremost but a keen photographer and illustrator. My style is refined and polished but elements when appropriate are contemporary and sharp. Fashion and publications are my personal passion, I have been fueling this interest with a personal project called M.A.N, that is very dear to my heart and am launching here.
