About the Book
They all gave so much: many of the composers, in the middle of working on multi-million dollar movies, produced suites of their music especially for the concert; both Jimmy Carr and Ed Byrne had other gigs later that night but made time. A-list soloists Paloma Faith, Imogen Heap, Alfie Boe, Matt Lucas, Jil Aigrot, Caroline Dale and Ricky Wilson were all such warm and generous contributors; and then there was the mighty Royal Philharmonic who, faced with a jam-packed and extremely challenging programme, gave it all they'd got, conducted by the brilliant (and never-less-than-totally-cool) Robert Ziegler.
This glorious book, featuring wonderfully evocative photographs, captures perfectly the generous spirit of the Concert for CARE events. Thanks for buying it - you're helping CARE International continue its challenging work around the world.

About the Creator
I am a Freelance Editorial Photographer living in Worthing. Most of my work is in Sussex and London although I do travel further afield if requested. I mainly work in the field of entertainment covering Live Music, Film and TV events, Premieres etc. My work has been published in UK national papers, periodicals and internationally. In my "spare" time I shoot fine art and stock capturing what 99.999% of the population miss as they walk around, if only they would open their eyes. People are wonderful - I feel split moments can show far more emotion and illustrate an event or person than any moving image can. Most of my inspiration comes from 1950's and 1960's black and white imagery but due to current news market trends, I don't get to deliver black and white images often. :-(
