About the Book
Sacramento Satin is a collection of thirty-five original poems by John F Herbert, brilliantly supported by the photographs of Karen D Martin.
The range of topics is varied, from a mischievous Californian prostitute of the book title, to being chased through a graveyard in 'R.I.P', to stopping the clock in 'The Master Of Time', or to suddenly finding yourself in the middle of a raging battlefield at Edgehill in 1642, during the English civil war, in 'King, Crown And Country'.
Erotica is well represented in the poems 'Stilettos', Virgo's Nightmare', and 'Lap-Top Erotica'.
Ghost and Horror is covered by 'R.I.P', a house to avoid in '13 Templeton Drive', and 'The Haunting Of Aurita Lecointe'.
