About the Creator
Dr. Clarence Talley Sr. is Director of Art at Prairie View A & M University. Dr. Talley holds four earned degrees and he is a Fulbright-Hays Scholar. He works in a variety of media and his art works have been shown nationally and internationally in numerous one man and group exhibitions. Dr. Talley’s subjects are diverse and range from traditional to contemporary. He interprets experiences and the human condition with passion and unrestrained vigor. As a paramount source of inspiration, Dr. Talley draws upon Biblical themes and narrations for motivation both visually and spiritually. He is listed in 250 Years of Afro American Art, Who’s Who Among African Americans, Who's Who in Black Houston and Who's Who Among America's Teachers.
