Anneke suffers from bipolar (manic–depressive) and personality disorder.

After an extremely difficult period she has found a new balance in her life. Painting, writing poems and sculpturing help her successfully cope with her disorder. This book contains a series of intimate documentary images, created by Jos Jansen between November 2009 and January 2010.
