About the Book
The Pilgrims first visited Truro in 1620, where they discovered fresh water and corn stored by the Wampanoag Indians.
Truro was settled by English immigrants in the 1690s. Fishing, whaling and shipbuilding made up the town's early industry.
Since the late 19th century, this part of Cape Cod has been a popular location for artists because of its unique light.
Artists including Edward Hopper and Joel Meyerowitz have captured their own special views of Truro.
Truro is still one of the most rural towns on the Cape, noted for its pristine beaches, rolling hills and windswept dunes.
This book is the first in a series entitled "Location, Location, Location"
