About the Book
Sue Foll is a professional photographer living and working in London.
When not on assignment she keeps a daily record of where she was been and who she has met.
As part of this process Sue made the decision to go out and photograph people she did not know. Some refused and some were occasionally captured from a distance, but mostly Sue got a good-natured response and co-operation.
The Book of Strangers tells the story of each encounter, and challenges the idea that London is a city of individuals who do not connect with each other.
