About the Book
Trifecta explores three jewels of the Veneto Region of Northern Italy. Venezia, the magical city of islands, the Dolomiti, the cathedral like high peaks of the Italian Alps, and the Prosecco hills, home to the famous sparkling wine.
Photographer Nick Zungoli has been a frequent visitor to Italy since reuniting with family there in 1987. Over the years his interest in photography has centered around how light and atmosphere transforms the landscape. The mountains, hills and watery ways of Venice provide those very special conditions at the heart of his work.
