About the Creator
Julie Sikora, M.A.E., lives in Chandler, Arizona with her husband and daughter. She received her Masters of Art and Education at Northern Arizona University and is currently teaching 5th grade at an elementary school in Mesa. Julie is passionate about education, writing, and children. She wrote this poem to honor and celebrate her grandmother's life with whom she had a very special bond. Another of Agatha's granddaughters, Dana Wright, is a freelance artist born in Phoenix, Arizona. Now a grandmother herself, Dana has been truly inspired by Agatha's zest for life and by the legacy she has left. Each illustration Dana created for this book is filled with love and admiration for a woman affectionately known as "Grandma" to over 40 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.
