The Vallarta School for Girls Photography Project, led by Ashlee Werter, began in 2023. The girls of the Vallarta Girls School located in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico learn photography using Canon DSLR cameras to capture the world in and around their community. The course draws out the girls' natural creativity and encourages a sense of discovery outside of the classroom. The girls learn to handle their cameras respectfully and with ease. The final projects are shown in this journal.
