Sitting at the intersection of poetry and philosophy, Beyond Love explores human instinct and how it impacts our freedom. When a man is born to pursue love how can he be free? This theme was inspired by a preoccupation with love and relationships in poetry. How poetry, and art more broadly, has an obsession, maybe even addiction to love.

The first two sections in this title contain poetry written under this theme, from between 2017 and 2020, the final two sections contain an unthemed selection of poetry from the same period, and finally a selection of favourites dating back to 2006.

Beyond Love was originally published in 2020, and a new edition was completed in 2024.
