Joiwind leads a bit of a double life. She is an artist half the time and an alternative medicine pediatrician the rest of the time, but sees it all as sculpture. Her studies include a masters of art in public space at RMIT where she began using text as part of her dispersed installations. She loves self-publishing and has a long history with book arts study. But the impulse began way way back when she was learning to read and immediately had to make a book of her own. She is a lifelong traveler and devoted mother.
