About the Book
A catalogue book of Laura Cofrin's photography in the exhibition at FOMA Art space, Santa Fe, New Mexico, November 18th through December 17, 2022.
Laura Cofrin’s tightly framed photographs, bridging on abstraction, are a
visually penetrating documentation of a physical injury she suffered in early2020 followed by her healing journey. A break occurred, fracturing the body in a way that cannot be undone. The work reveals a weaving together of the brittle edges, a pulling back to a cohesive unit and restoration of oneself to the whole.
