About the Creator
Donald Friedlich’s jewelry has been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world and is in the permanent collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, the Corning Museum of Glass, the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, and many others. Friedlich has lectured at universities and conferences in North America, Europe, East Asia, Australia, and the Middle East, most recently at the Smithsonian Museum of Art as a James Renwick Alliance Distinguished Artist and as the keynote speaker at the 2018 Society of North American Goldsmith (SNAG) conference in Asheville, NC. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and former SNAG president, Friedlich has been an artist-in- residence at The Studio of the Corning Museum of Glass, the Australian National University, Tainan National University of Art in Taiwan, the California College of Art, and many others.
