About the Book
A compilation of poetry and photography written and captured by Chames, J.
“SAD” tells tales of forbidden romance, grief, and death. Despite its melancholy subject matter, this anthology still delivers positive messages and rays of hope at the end. Much like journeying through life, readers are certain to traverse crests and troughs whilst reading this book.

About the Creator
A Detroit, Michigan native, I use my art to express myself and cope with life’s happenstances. After my mother’s death I began writing poetry; A decade later when my cousin passed away I turned to photography. Early on I learned to channel my pain into something productive. Currently, I serve in the United States’ military and write whenever inspiration strikes.
