Chicago Multimedia Artist, Dee Jefferies, documents his Soul Food Series collection. Originally imagined as somewhat of an ode to his family, and the southern Black roots they brought with them to Chicago that have made him the person and artist he is today, Dee compiled a collection of photos and video footage hoping to capture the essence and feeling he remembers growing up in Granny's house with all of his cousins.
