This book celebrates life long friendships of a group of black men, affectionally known as The Boys. It honors one of their own, William R."Billy" Sears, and others of this group, for their contributions to society. In this book, through its brief bios, stories, and pictures, readers will experience some of The Boy's fun, spirit, humor, and philanthropy. Each of these experiences were shared with family, friends, community-based organizations and businesses, as they traveled across the United States, and foreign countries playing golf.

These men subscribe to a common credo. That credo is to give back a bit of themselves, and their life's experiences and successes, to individuals, youth, and various communities and charities. This group of men are viewed as role models by some, and leaders in their communities and the humanities by others.
