About the Book
The snow-white world of winter teems with life, quiet beauty and countless hidden treasures. In this book, I invite you to bundle up, strap on your snowshoes or skis and join me on an exploration of Michigan's wild places during this special season.
On our journey, we'll visit places such as the Nordhouse Dunes Wilderness Area, Sand Lakes Quiet Area, the AuSable River, Mackinac Island and Chippewa Nature Center. Along the way, we'll encounter squirrels, deer, porcupine, birds and surprise splashes of color in the snowy, frozen landscape.
