About the Book
The author grew up in Texas in the '50s where road trips were considered one's birthright. This particular 2021 road trip with the author's college roommate from 1967 (now both 72) was a trip and a half --long, physically and psychologically taxing, jaded and surreal. From Colorado to California and back, the author chronicled through photos and observations the state of baby boomers and the American landscape in post- pandemic 2021.
