About the Creator
Louis Ocepek is a designer, printmaker, and former professor of art, teaching a wide variety of graphic design, printmaking and painting courses. As a free-lance designer he specialized in poster and book cover design. In 2002, his book, Graphic Design: Vision, Process, Product was published by Prentice Hall Incorporated. Ocepek studied design and fine art at the University of Iowa and Wayne State University. He is currently using conventional and digital media to make low-relief constructions, digital prints and paintings. He also collaborates with his wife, Mary Wolf, on projects that incorporate her texts and photography about post-colonial French literature, border culture, and the city of Paris.
