About the Book
In this book is a collection of photographs taken over the summer of 2020 during my time spent on furlough, as I escaped to various seaside towns on the South East coast. I wanted to capture those fleeting everyday moments, taken during the coronavirus pandemic.
Whilst walking around with my camera, I found it to be a very therapeutic experience. I was able to block out the world around me and focus only what was visible inside the frame of my camera. All of life's distractions would dissipate whenever I raised my eye to the viewfinder.
Before I started this photographic journey, that wasn't something I had anticipated, but a feeling I now crave each time I go out and shoot.
I hope you enjoy the photographs in this book, as much as I did in capturing them.
