About the Book
In 1883 Mark Twain said "it is hopeless for the occasional visitor to try and keep up with Chicago; she outgrows his prophecies faster than he can make them." In this engaging photo documentary of Chicago Avenue, stirring b&w photographs along the avenue show that it is filled with faces, some painted on walls, and some that will be painted forever in your mind.
