About the Book
What is beauty?
Is beauty what a magazine editor or a fashion designer says it is? Is beauty a universal constant, something that either is, or is not? Is it merely outward appearance, or something more? Beauty is, I believe, a force of nature, an amalgam of the flesh and the spirit, and as such, cannot be limited by physical size or shape, color or race.
Beauty is not an absolute, it exists in all things, to one degree or another, but is neither totally absent or perfect in all its' presence.
What is real?
For the purposes of this book, real is an image that is not digitally enhanced to change the natural appearance of the person being photographed. This beauty exists on this earth, in the form recorded here, visible, if you will pardon the pun, to the naked eye. This is the beauty I wish to see, the beauty created in nature, by nature, untouched by technology.
This is the beauty of real.
