Adam Ray Marquez was born and raised in Northern California. As a child, he spent summer vacations at the Library where his mother worked. It is here where his love of literature and poetry thrived.

He writes surreal Free Verse poetry as well as fiction, horror-fiction, essays, film reviews and editorials.

He is currently the Editor-In-Chief of the Post Mortem Video blog, a website specializing in horror, cult, and exploitation cinema reviews and editorials.

Adam is also a musician and has played guitar for the melodic death metal band Held In Scorn, created a solo album under pseudonym Adam Delia, and is currently playing guitar in Love & Despair ( a bands that performs the music of The Cure) and the melodic rock band Winter Reign.
