Pat Hornstein is a french painter, photographer and author born in London, UK and raised in Paris, France, he then lived in the south of France and recently moved to Vancouver, BC.

“All these moments, will be lost in time, like tears in the rain”. This famous line resumes what my work has always dealt with, the loss of the present. Painting and creating images is therefore for me a spiritual path that questions our relationship to time, memories, grieving, oblivion and so, our very identity and personal history.
