About

Photography has played a major part of my life since I was about 10 years old and started with a 6x9 bellow camera, developed the film and contact copied the prints in the darkroom. I never been a good snapshot photographer and discovered I want to have another pace in my work. Landscape and still life have been a large part of my interest and lately portrait people. I’m more or less an autodidact in photography that has learnt by reading, looking and feeling. Formally I’ve a PhD in Applied Physics and Chemistry and have taken up studies in History of Art and Photography. From studies in History of Photography I felt a large common with the Pictorialistic era. As a consequence I begin to explore Low-Fi , cyanotype and gum bichromate methods.

I'm a part of the 10 Lo-fi manifesto for low fidelity photography.
