Phillip Graneto is a recently retired Rowan University Professor of Theatre and a retired member of the Theatrical Designer Union United Scenic Artist Local 829. He worked as an assistant designer for two Broadway musicals Bubbling Brown Sugar and GRIND and for several feature, and made-for-TV, films. He has designed sets for Philadelphia’s Wilma Theatre, Arden Theatre, American Music Theatre, and Festival for New Plays at Annenberg Center. His off-Broadway design credits include designs for The Classic Stage Company, The Perry Street Theatre, The Jefferson Theatre company and the Joyce Theatre. He served four seasons as the resident designer for National Players Classic Touring Company based in Olney Maryland and designed six productions for the Hollybush Opera.
