I was born in Wakefield, England in 1942. In 1949 my parents and brother and I migrated to Australia as "ten pound poms."I was lucky to have a happy childhood and teenage life until I found myself in a messy situation. However, with support from my parents I pulled through and continued my adventures.
I worked in PNG for seven years and had some great times. It was there that I met and married my handsome Swiss boyfriend, Bill. We went around the world for our honeymoon and stopped to live in Switzerland for a while. Later we returned to Australia and embarked on family life in Brisbane, Queensland.
