About the Book
John Adams wrote, “Grief drives men into habits of serious reflection, sharpens the understanding and softens the heart.” This book is about how Alaska's natural beauty drove me back to the lessons of grief. It is about remembering to be grateful, compassionate, honest and letting people see who we really are, in essence becoming real.
