About the Book
The themes are: Landscape, Sky, City, Monochrome, Panorama, Winter, Water. These themes run consecutively throughout the book and are shown at the top of each page. Where possible I have shown each double page spread with a common theme.
Many of the photographs were taken in Dorset and Wiltshire depict the varied landscape on my doorstep. I have found photographing cities interesting and include some images of London together with monochrome images of Salisbury and of Amsterdam. Panoramic photographs, both of Dorset, Wiltshire and France form the central part of the book which sits well with the themes of winter and of water.

About the Creator
Growing up in this area may well have given me a special appreciation for the local landscape. I attended school in Weymouth, then Dorchester and now live in Gillingham north Dorset. I began work in a local printing company and as part of my training I attended what was then the Bournemouth College of Art (now the Arts College University Bournemouth) being taught graphic design and typography. After a career working in the printing and publishing industries and later in IT, I now devote time to my long standing love of photography. My work frequently depicts the diverse landscapes of Dorset and Wiltshire. Some eight years ago I commenced producing greetings cards, with the help of my wife, Pam. Since then, the quality and quality of the cards has increased with them being sold widely in the area. The current calendar is the seventh to be published, with previous editions being used in parts parts of the world. Two years ago I established a studio and gallery at near Gillingham.
