About the Book
Jim Anthony and his team were in the blockhouse at Launch Complex 34, and were responsible for the liquid oxygen fueling of the first stage of the Saturn 1B, for both Apollo 1 and later, Apollo 7.
The events of 1968 are told in a picture format, and are then followed 40 years later by the author's trip back to the Cape in 2008, where he sought to reconnect with this important flight that was the first step to our landing Americans on the Moon.
With insightful commentary throughout by the author, who is the son of Jim Anthony.
Jay Anthony has previously published "Are you going to Waterford Fair?" on Blurb.com.

About the Creator
A little about me… I have always enjoyed photography, and have recently taken it up in earnest. Having been raised in the South, primarily in Mississippi, Florida, and Texas, I've come to appreciate the wide ranging beauty and inspiration that it offers for photographers. I enjoy landscape, architecture, and also figurative photography. Much of my work on that subject reflects a classical temperament. In addition to multiple exhibits at the Waterford Homes Tour and Crafts Exhibit-Photography Exhibit, I have also previously been exhibited multiple times at the Oatlands Plantation Four Seasons Art Show. In 2009 I won the Best in Show for Photography! I also won 4th place in Architecture for the 2009 Waterford Fair Photography Exhibit. My work has been exhibited at the Loudoun County Government Center. I exhibited at The Galleries of South King Street for two years! Please email me at jayanthony59@aol.com if you have any questions about my photography!
