About the Book
O Buraco da Agulha (The Hole of the Needle)
YECO AS A SPECTRAL AND GHOSTLY PRETEXT OF PESSOA
In 1981 Miguel Yeco returned from Paris to Portugal to start the project "Pessoa's (and echoes), " inspired by the figure and work of the poet Fernando Pessoa, performing more than thirty performances, recorded in some slides. Some of these slides were probably photographed by Carlos Baroque, which led to this book.
The invisible line that connects all of us was the purpose basis for the design and intervention in each photo. The intention was that each image evokes a different reality, a suggestion heteronym, a multiple tone. The aura of Kirlian photography, the purity of the blue pigment of Klein or the density of Rothko's spiritual chromaticism served as the final images.
